There's a bug report for this issue If you ever come across a bug/glitch in game, go to that forum and search for it or add it yourself! That's where the Sims teams finds bugs to add to their Laundry List for game updates.
While Child Sims can have Likes and Dislikes, they will not have the Décor option until later once they become a Teen. The category comes with fifteen new Likes and Dislikes to choose from and will feed into the twenty that you can choose overall for each Sim.
Detailed Description: After installing this mod, you can define if a sim will like or dislike homework by going inside the Hobbies & Skills Category. Liking (or disliking) homework means that a sim will receive positive (or negative) moodlets and gain (or lose) fun when: working on school projects (that come with the Parenthood game pack).
At the new lot, I moved the decoration box from the household inventory, then tried to remove existing decorations that were on the house for some reason (left over from their previous lot? I didn't put anything on the eaves and foundations on this new lot). but the options are greyed out and when hovering over, there is a message that says
TimeTraveller23. ★★★ Novice. Same here. Except it is not just for decor they like, it is for decor they don't like too. My student sim living on a dorm lot at Brichester would get up in the middle of the night and walk around the building and complain that he didn't like the decor.
I tried buying decorations and rummaging through the attic box but it doesn't fulfill the tradition. Unfortunately the tradition is the favorite of one of the sims in the household but I can't fulfill it. It's strange to prevent decor from apartments. I decorate my apartment every Halloween.
